We are proud to announce that Elizabeth P. Cervini, our Director of Surety Operations, was named to the first ever Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) 40 Under 40 Class. CFMA announced the recognition in their April press release.

CFMA’s 40 Under 40 is a new award of recognition for achievement in the industry of the next generation of financial management leaders.

We wanted to share with you highlights of Elizabeth’s career and take the time to recognize the effort, time, energy and spirit that she brings to her job and Rosenberg & Parker on a daily basis – the reasons that she was nominated and indeed honored in the first place.

Elizabeth began her surety career directly upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh. Her passion for Surety took her from an entry level position with a small agency and quickly advanced her to Assistant Underwriting Manager for a Surety company. In 2015 Elizabeth joined Rosenberg & Parker as Directory of Surety Operations, with the charge of guiding and growing a department of surety professionals and a large client portfolio. Elizabeth regularly teaches accredited surety classes, both basic and advanced, to surety professionals. Since March of 2020, she has successfully managed her entire workforce and workload remotely without skipping a beat.

To emphasize Elizabeth’s dedication to the surety business in 2011, at the age of 26, Elizabeth became the youngest sitting President of the Philadelphia Surety Association. She held that office for five years until she accepted a board member position with the Philadelphia Chapter of CFMA.

Elizabeth is a true mentor to her staff and has established a mentoring program at R&P which provides valuable two-way communication that benefits both mentor and mentee. More importantly, it has helped increase productivity and quality of work, shore up employee retention and create a more positive work environment.

She is extremely dedicated and hardworking and goes above and beyond for her clients, big and small, to ensure that they get what they need when they need it, all with a positive attitude. Her extensive knowledge of the surety marketplace, combined with her diligence, attention to detail, and passion for helping others, makes her very worthy of this recognition.
